Welcome to Settl! Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Settl application ("App") and services ("Services"). By accessing or using our App and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our App or Services.
By accessing or using the Settl App and Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you are prohibited from using the App and Services.
Settl reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App and Services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the App and Services. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.
Account Registration: To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as needed.
User Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify Settl of any unauthorized use of your account.
Transaction Fees: Settl charges a transaction fee for the use of certain Services. The current fee structure is available within the App and is subject to change at Settl's discretion.
Payment Methods: By initiating a transaction through the App, you authorize Settl to charge your linked payment method for the transaction amount, including any applicable fees.
Disputes: If you have a dispute with another user or with a transaction, you agree to resolve the dispute directly with the other party involved. Settl is not responsible for any disputes between users.
Responsibility for Content: You are solely responsible for any content that you submit, post, or upload to the App ("User Content"). You agree that Settl is not responsible for any User Content and does not endorse any opinion contained in User Content.
License to User Content: By submitting User Content to Settl, you grant Settl a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such User Content in connection with providing the Services.
You agree not to use the App and Services to:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law.
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal materials.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or Services.
Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the App and Services, including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos, are owned by Settl or its licensors.
Limited License: Settl grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and Services for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
Settl may terminate or suspend your access to the App and Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App and Services will immediately cease.
The App and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Settl makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App or Services, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Settl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the App or Services; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
